Well there is another fellow from Virginia named William Draganis who had a sighting in Dinwiddie county. I have been doing research since I first read and article in readers digest when I returned home from the army in 1970. Not intense research but I have read many books and have had the pleasure of talking with Dr. Grover Krantz and also Dr. Jeff Meldrum. I know there are sasquatch in Virginia. In October 2005 my daughter was driving to my home from Richmond on I-95 and stopped about 5:00pm somewhere near Asland to let her sons relive themselves. Well just about when they were finished a driver in an eighteen wheeler came by and when he got near her he began to blow his air horn repeatedly about eight times in rapid succession which startled my daughter. When she got in the car she said there was a smell in the car that made her think she or one of her children had stepped in some poop. But their shoes were clean. When she told me what happened and asked why the driver had done what he did I said one word, sasquatch, she thought for a moment and then said dad you might be right. My assumption is that one was just in the treeline where she stopped and probably made a move toward her and that's when the trucker saw it and tried to warn her. Well a year later we were going to Indiana and had just began to come out of the mountains into Ohio at 3am with the windows rolled up. It was in September and the stench hit us. It was overwhelming, it made my nose burn it was so strong. I asked my daughter if this was the same smell she had experienced on 95 and she said yes. I then asked her if it was that strong and she again said yes. So for me that confirmed it for me. And just let me add whenever you are driving in the country and this smell hit you believe me it is not a skunk the smell is different.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
